Only a few days ago, Chelsea were mentioned in the transfer realms as being uncultured and tight fisted in their ways when signing a player. So when the Blues are rumored to be close to signing players now, eyes certainly will be on them.

In fact, investigations had been going on for about three years by world football’s governing body and their verdict to ban Chelsea from participating in the transfer market for two windows will not deter those in the high echelons at Stamford Bridge. They are still making plans to bring in more players and improve the squad at Maurizio Sarri’s disposal.

According to La Repubblica in Italy, via Calciomercato, Nicolo Zaniolo who is attracting interest from Real Madrid has also caught attention from the Premier League and Chelsea want to pounce for him next summer.

With Chelsea seeking another look into their case at FIFA – with the hope to have the ban postponed or reduced – they are already in talks for new players and the 19-year old midfielder’s form at Roma has been impressive enough to warrant an inquiry.
